Bootstrap 2.0 is free, and considered open-source as its on GitHub. Considered a front-end web-framework for designing websites and web applications, it contains HTML- and CSS-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation and other interface components. It supports responsive web design. This means the layout of web pages adjusts dynamically, taking into account the characteristics of the device used (desktop, tablet, mobile phone).OK, so far Bootstrap looks awesome, but I am not so impressed, because it seems to be a lot. A big pain in the ass. But lets dive in and read some tutorials and see what I can come up with. Used to be called Twitter Blueprint, released in the summer of 2001, and we are now in version 2. I still don’t have anything cool to put out on GitHub.
